It's approx 0.44m³.

Q:
I want to make a long continuous bed of about 3 meters. Can these be joined side by side or just placed side by side?
A:
These would be best suited assembled individually and placed side by side due to the way the corner brackets help with the structural integrity of the unit. If you were to make a long continuous bed it would turn out quite flimsy.

Q:
Are these transportable if you need to move home at any time?
A:
This might be a little tricky as they don't have a bottom in them, you will need to disassemble the structure.

Q:
How will a thin piece of plywood used as a bottom liner be renewable if the planter is filled with soil?
A:
You could lever up the planter and slide the new ply underneath the deteriorating piece, or you could empty the the planter and change. The ply option was in response to someone who was looking at whether they could use it on decking and how they could possibly make it work, rather than a suggestion that this bed is an ideal option for that application. We would definitely recommend going with one of our Keter or EcoFlex planters for this.

Q:
I am thinking of putting a planter on a verandah decking. What would you suggest I line the bottom with ?
A:
We would use some thin, untreated plywood. This will eventually deteriorate obviously, but can be easily renewed. Have you checked out our resin planters? These are another good option that will last longer also.

Q:
Can you put soil straight into these or do we need to line them?

As this is steel you don't need to line them.

Hello, can you put one on top of another to make it taller?

Yes you could do this, you would need to figure out how to secure them together, perhaps some tek screws.

Good!

I have bought four of these over the years. They are good intermediate garden. Cons: rust after a few years. NOT easy to put together unelss you have professional tools and a lot of strength, (The self screwing screws are not brilliant. Metal easily twists when screwing). PROS: Once you have it up, Weed matted and filled with perlite or simila and then qualiy potting mix, a brilliant sized garden that looks good.

Good value planter

You need an electric drill, some time and ideally a friend to help with the assembly but it's pretty straightforward and took me 20 minutes or so, this resulted in a very sturdy and good-looking planter which I expect will last for many years. Very good value for money.

These are good value.

I’ve now bought three of these and will be buying more.

Great Value

Ok, so it’s not an $1,000 wooden eye catching masterpiece but it is tough and fit for purpose. Also easy to assemble. It would be good if they made them in forest green. I bought two more and may buy more so that tells you more than any words.

Great buy

I have purchased a lot of these over time and find them excellent for my gardening without the backpain. Easy to assemble as well.

Quick to put up, looks great

No, I do not recommend this product.
It's doing the job.

It was a bit awkward to put together but I managed. Would have been easier with 2 people or a wider work bench. Looks good out in the garden. Definitely fit for purpose.
