I have made the axle on that splitter one metre wide.It would not be difficult for the makers to leave 300 mls in the tank part from the outset.It will stop them tipping so easily.My old one tipped on the road -thankfully at low speed-and wrecked a couple of hoses. There is a lot of weight sitting right above the wheel. The motor started first pop so that was good.I may put a proper inline filter in and not just rely on the gauze one.
