A bit of a pain to get the umbrella into the base but after some gentle persuasion all good.

Sturdy base, heavy but not too big. Good paint finish, useful handles. My brolly doesn't fill the hole completely so the hand screw holds it, this feels a little week and I wonder how well it will hold in a gust but has not presented a problem.

This base is very very heavy, ideal for its purpose, well made and sturdy but extremely heavy.
