Shelter your patio or deck from the elements with this PVC Patio Blind - made of transparent UV treated 0.7mm thick PVC, this blind will protect you and your guests from wind and rain while retaining light and visibility.

Easy to install, this blind features a canvas wrapped galvanised steel top rail and a powder-coated, galvanised steel bottom rail for strength and long life.

Suitable for verandahs, pergolas or balconies etc. Want to join your blinds together? No problem, we have joining zippers available separately for you.

Do they have a guarantee? How long do they last on average?
A:
They have a 2 Year Warranty, it depends on location and exposure, but in general we've been selling these for 7 years and are yet to have any issues.

Q:
Hi how are the blinds secured when they are down to stop them flapping around?
A:
You can ad one of our fixing strips on each end, or use our patio blind joiners to zip 2 blinds together (check out the Frequently Bought Together section above).

Hi, Can these be shortened or installed/locked in place partially rolled up? Only need a height of about 210cm rather than 240cm. Thanks.
A:
You could roll them to the height you need then tie them off no problem.

how they get fixed at the top? Are they fixed at the sides?
A:
There are bolts that go through the top rail that will fix onto the beam that you are attaching these too. If you call our sales team on 0800 800 880 they will be able to send you an assembly manual and talk you through any installation queries you have.

If I purchase the 3x4 lourve system, will 2 of these fit on the 3m side?

These are not specifically designed for our louvres, with modifications we have had customers do this.

A:
Yes you could use them, you will need to drill into the frame to fit.

Q:
We live on Great Barrier Island and our predominant wind is a westerly, awful when it rains and the wind is howling would this stand up to those conditions if yes what would be my time limit. My husband said nothing will stand up to those winds please prove him wrong.
A:
They don't have a specific wind rating, so we can't give you definitive answer, however much of it would be down to how well they are secured. Lots of our customers use them to block wind, so we're confident in their material strength, however like anything they have their limit. Maybe get one of our weather stations so you know when to roll them up!

Holding up well with a couple of modifications

We have 2 of these joined together and they have held strong in some pretty decent winds. I added a "joiner" between the bottom bars and replaced the weak strap holders at the outside corners and this has helped a lot (see photos). Very happy so far.

I ordere, it arrived, we installed, Sorted!

This was the 4th patio blind I have ordered from Trade Tested and installed. The instructions require a high degree of interpretative ability, luckily my brother has it, but once you’ve cracked what they meant to say, installation is quite simple. We have one 3metre blind facing south west and it has stood up to one windy winter with no stress showing on the PVC panels, the stitching or fitting so we are well please.
