Can the roof be removed for easy cleaning?

The roof for this kennel is held down by 12 screws, so not very easily removed but it is possible.

Whats the plastic like with our harsh sun - has it been tested not to break down?
A:
The plastic has UV inhibitors so yes it's built to handle it, obviously you will eventually get some effect over the years depending on how exposed it is.

Is this kennel suitable for heavy rain & strong wind?
A:
In heavy rain & strong winds you will most likely find this won't be suitable for keeping your dog dry, especially as this is an open front kennel. We suggest covering these with a tarp in the instance of rough weather.

Yes there are some tie-down tab holes in the side of each foot. You would need to use a suitable bracket or similar.
