Chicken Coop EcoFlex Large with Pen

Had for 8 months and 3 parts broken now, the door where the thin plastic keeping the swivel hinge broke top and bottom. Corner above the door cracked, again not well made parts. Part for screw to go into shattered at assembly (not a major impact as was the end one for the roof so doesn't cause any problem). For the price this is not designed to last I have had cheaper ones perform better. Saving grace is that the coop itself is easy to clean and spacious for the chooks.

I have been using this product for two months and wanted to share my honest review. The quality of the recycled material is poor and fragile, making it challenging to clean as the parts easily break. The plastic screw holders that are meant to keep it together are not effective and require silicone or glue to hold the pieces in place. While I have the large ecoflex with pen, it can only comfortably accommodate 3-4 chickens, Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the product and will have to consider purchasing a new chicken coop.

To small for 8 chickens, must be very small chickens, mistakes in cutting of the product. So didn't fit. Not very sturdy . Perch stocks to low, and each day knocked out off their fittings

Very happy with the chicken coop, gave 4 stars as the instructions weren't the greatest and there were a few flaws, hole too big for the bolt, nesting box lid doesn't open and close easily but other than that a good buy

Ordered this after we moved properties and the hens needed a new home. Our former one was a wooden one which last 6 years before the weather degraded it so far it was falling to bits. The Ecoflex is stylish and took about an hour to build with two people. Easy to lift into position and our Brown Shavers love it.

Good Product. Easy to assemble. The chickens love it

This coop has been great for us so far after six weeks. Took about an hour to whip together (two of us - definitely worth putting the numbered pieces in order first). The chooks are happy to put themselves to bed in it each night. There is seriously a heap of rubbish involved, though. I had to do an extra trip to the tip for all the giant pieces of styrofoam and boxes. Best of all, my three year old can get in to fill up their food but also reach the eggs to collect them!

Reading the reviews, I was a little concerned about assembly, but it was simple. Every piece is numbered but I do recommend organising the pieces in order before you start. There are 57 pieces but they just slip together, easy as. Took my husband and me 45 minutes from opening the box to finishing the pen. The gate opens out so no interference with the coop door. Roof slips off for easy cleaning. There's an extra piece for the pen, should you want to remove it from the coop. The two of us could move the coop around relatively easily, but I wouldn't try by myself! Now just to get the chickens settled!
