This wireless unit displays a wide range of weather measurements, date and time on an easy to read LCD screen. The unit allows you to switch between Celcius and Farenheit, and inches and centimetres for rainfall. The display unit has up to 100m wireless connectivity to the rain gauge making it easy to perch or hang the display where it suits you inside.
The rain gauge is easy to mount outside, using the screws included, is self-emptying and has 24 months battery life meaning you can set and forget.

Great until the battery goes flat. When you change the battery it doesn't work any more
Works OK, records rain fall but sometimes when you push the buttons to see the rain fall for an hour then 12 hr, then 24 hr and total the whole thing resets and you lose all the totals. You then have to set the time and date all over again and then sometimes it will reset again. To scared to push any buttons now and only see the rain fall over a 24 hour space.
We have installed the product and it is working satisfactorily. It is interesting how the self-emptying rain measurement system works, but so far so good. The display screen is simple but probably could be a bit brighter for better visibility in low light. Finding a place for the outdoor sensor could be a problem for some; it is not easy to find a place that is both out of direct sunlight (for temperature readings) while at the same time allow free entry of rain water. Note: our lack of making a recommendation is not a reflection on the quality of the product - we simply never tell our friends what we think they should buy.
Was so pleased at first. Large dial,easy to read. Then realised the instructions were unclear, what does 24hr mean? from when to when, ditto for week - when to when? The most disappointing aspect was that the recordings for any of the previous days was not available - other systems do have this. If this is not important for you, then it is very good..
Ideal for situation required
I have had one of these units for 3 years, with no issues - I have replaced the batteries after about 14 months - Great unit
We bought this weather station nearly a year ago now, it is going great. It is such a reliable measure we don't check the manual rain guage anymore. The inside display is great, no more going out into the cold to see the temperature or into the rain to check the rainfall. A great package, easy to set up.
The Weather Station is great once set up everything is there at a glance or the push of a button without having to go outside.
To receive rainfall needs to be in the open.For outside temperature needs to be in the shade. Not for everyone.
