Kayak/SUP Storage Rack

Just completed the assembly. Very pleased that my two kayaks can now be looked after properly. I'm very happy with the service and product.

Our double kayak fits on the rack easily. Well constructed and nicely finished product.

Straight forward to assemble and sturdy to hold two kayaks securely.

This is a great rack for the price. The foam padding is nice and chunky, the frame is sturdy. Instructions are mostly clear, but we did end up using the wrong screws for one section and had to redo. Tip - when putting parts A,B and C together, some holes are square for a reason! Find the square screws (they were hiding under unrelated parts). We did have trouble adjusting the stability brackets - there seems to be no easy way to adjust them without tipping the whole rack over and using tools to unscrew the pegs. Problem being, you can't do proper adjustment when the rack is lying on its side. If leaving this outdoors in a windy location, make sure to secure it so it doesn't fall over - ours did in gusty winds, dropping the kayaks. We stored our large sea kayak and SOT facing towards the back of the rack, and leaned them in that direction too for stability.

The rack is a very solid steel stucture with good quality pads to protect the stored boats. It came well packed (if not with too much plastic wrapping) and was fairly easy to assemble. I have it free standing on the garage floor up against the wall and it has freed up the space two kayaks took up as well as securely storing them. You couldn't buy the box section steel components for the price I paid - great value and great product.
